Will a burnt fuse still work?
I'm curious, could you elaborate on the functionality of a burnt fuse? Specifically, I'm wondering if a fuse that has been damaged by overheating or an electrical surge would still be able to perform its intended purpose of protecting electrical circuits from damage. Is there any possibility that a burnt fuse could still function, or is it a definitive sign that the fuse has failed and needs to be replaced?
